Lake George Adirondack area is one of the most
scenic areas in New York. Many thousands of acres of
land surrounding Lake George into the Adirondacks
have been acquired by the State of New York in order
to preserve this area for generations and
generations. Because of these preservations and
because it is so magnificent, Lake George hiking and
Adirondack hiking in this are is extremely popular
for afternoon activities while staying in our bed
and breakfasts.
Numerous marked trails have been identified to
provide the hiker with a route scenic peaks, points
of interest and other areas which surround Lake
George. There are over 50 miles of foot trails
